Overall positive experience with our kitchen remodel. Work was done in a timely manner, GC and construction crew were amazing. All our issues were addressed prior to final payment, We are happy with the outcome! Only complaint is that you are dealing with a large company with multiple layers (project manager who was overseeing only came to the site once after demo-really most of the work was left in the hands of the general contractor) and there is definitely an up charge for having the project manager vs. using a general contractor. Great option for those who have a lot of design needs/structural changes we would use them again for those types of projects.

Kitchen Renovation - January-April 2023 Deciding to do a full kitchen renovation on our 1885 brick bungalow was an exciting decision for my wife and I to make after purchasing the home in the spring of 2022. With the current supply chain issues and labor shortages we knew that choosing the correct design/build firm was going to be the most important factor in this process for a successful outcome. During our initial meetings with Gina and Jamin (the Colorado Homes and Design/Earth Saving Solutions team) we quickly confirmed that we had chosen the right firm. As a retired executive chef, I had very specific requirements for our new kitchen. Gina took those ideas and presented us with a thoughtful design that incorporated an efficient layout with the premium materials we requested. As the project progressed we were very impressed with the emphasis on quality craftsmanship that Jose (project lead) and his team put into every aspect of our renovation, always making the extra effort to get it exactly right. When you are fully renovating a 135 year old space, you know that you are going to uncover some unexpected issues and we were certainly no exception. After some trail and error with our communication process, we dialed in our communication process between the whole team. We were able to navigate any and all issues quickly and move forward toward our project completion. From design to pre-con to final walk-through this team stepped up and made our dream kitchen a reality. I hired Colorado Home & Design/ Earth Saving Solutions to redo my kitchen. The consultation was scheduled easily and quickly. Jamin was the PM and was exceptional to work with. I wavered about taking down a wall and Jamin walked me through process and offered guidance as I made a decision. He was generous with his time, super responsive in communication and his expertise was invaluable throughout the process. There were some delays with subcontractors around the holidays, but Jamin got involved to iron everything out and make sure the job got done in time and that I was fully satisfied. The pictures I added show before and after from the same location. This company did outstanding work! Steve Wienstroer was my designer and was incredibly patient as I can be very indecisive. He listened well to what I would want and created an unbelievable beautiful space for me within my budget. The details in his design were spot on, and his communication was amazing where he would get back to me with all of my questions in a VERY timely manner! Steve, the project manager and the contractor all worked together to get me a dream space all within my budget. The entire project only took about 7 weeks, which included taking down walls and vaulting part of my ceiling. The overall communication was amazing, where I always felt taken care of and all questions answered daily. As minor issues arose, they took care of them immediately without hesitation. I am in love with my new space!

We had Colorado Homes and Design do our kitchen remodel, interior paint and finish/stain and add wood flooring. We initially worked with Jamin who provided us with great information and education on how the remodel would go and answered our questions thoroughly. He was involved from start to finish. He was patient, very responsive and professional. Plus, he's super fun to work with! Ashlie designed our kitchen carefully with our input and ideas. She was proactive and anticipatory in her work and was incredibly detailed and thorough. She offered suggestions when appropriate. Ashlie was easy to work with, responsive, friendly, organized and professional. Highly recommend working with Ashlie! We were then introduced to Ben who was our Project Manager for the remodel. Ben was great- friendly, professional, easy to work with and responsive. We added several items, (including the interior painting of our entire house) to our project and Ben/Jamin were so accommodating and flexible with these changes. They provided a timeline and adjusted when appropriate. Because of this, our project took a lot longer than expected, but makes sense with the items we added. The entire crew that worked on our house; including Mikey, Jesse and Garrett, were amazing. Such a great crew. By the end of the project, I missed seeing and talking to everyone! We just remodeled our Westminster home and updated the Kitchen from 1982 to 2021 and very happy with the end product. Gina was the designer on our project and after a few meetings of back and forth on the design we landed on the perfect design. The finished product was spot on to the design. Communication with the team was wonderful throughout using a group text chain, so if the project manager was busy or on another project the Owner (Jamin) and Gina were on the text chain to make sure any scheduling or construction issues were addressed timely. The project was fairly seamless for the quantity of work completed. Gina's team completed moving water lines for the sink, running gas lines to upgrade the stove, demoed a wall dividing two rooms, installed wood floors, painted walls/ceiling, upgraded lighting/switches, drywall repair and texturing walls, moved HVAC registers, installed cabinets, installed appliances, custom countertops, and installed a custom window.

We recently had our kitchen redone by Colorado Home and Design, and we are thrilled with the results! The entire team was professional, skilled, and incredibly easy to work with. Gina made the design process fun and effortless. she brought our ideas to life in ways we hadn't imagined. A huge shoutout to Jude, Joaquin, and Alejandro, who pulled off what felt like the impossible with some very tricky electrical work. Jon did an incredible job on our custom bench and went above and beyond doing misc things he could for us after completing the cabinet install. Jose is the man who wears many hats but he was phenomenal. He was always two steps ahead, he pre-fabricated a missing piece of countertop by the windowsill when I got around to asking about it - it was already finished. And Nate spotted my list of to-do items and either took care of them himself or coordinated with others to make sure they were handled quickly. The crew also loves dogs, which is a big plus for me. I came home to BJ finishing a few floor touch ups working around our 85lb excited lab and that warmed my heart. There were a couple of minor things to note—our start date was adjusted without prior notice, and some materials and debris were left on-site and removed periodically. Thankfully, we had the space to accommodate it, so it wasn't an issue for us. Jamin had mentioned during the preconstruction meeting that this might happen and assured us we could simply text him if anything needed to be picked up, which was helpful and reassuring.
